Jack doesn't know whose backpack it is. There are some books, a bottle of cola, some keys (钥匙) and a black wallet in it.

"The man who lost the backpack must be very worried, so I take it here," Jack says to Ms Read, a worker at the lost and found office.

"Thank you, young man! You're very kind to do so. Please write down your phone number here. When the man comes to get it, he can call to thank you," says Ms Read.

"Oh, no! I just want the backpack to find itsowner!" With these words, Jack leaves happily.

Dear friends,

We are every glad to see thousands of people go to the Voice of China. Thanks to your help, the big parties had wonderful ending. But now we have a big problem. There are too many things in the meeting. Maybe you are too excited to meet the stars, you left some of your things, like the watches, the cameras, horns (喇叭) and even ID cards, and so on. What are we going to do? First, you can call the number 234-5678. Then we send your things back. Secondly, you can ask the police for help. We will give the important things to them. Thirdly, you can come to the sports centre. The workers here may tell you how you can find them.

But, we still want to say, please look after your things next summer!

Many teenagers feel that the most important people in their lives are their friends. They believe that their family member, and in particular(特别是) their parents, don't know them as well as their friends do. In large families, it is quite often for brothers and sisters to fight with each other and then they can only go to their friends for advice. It is very important for teenagers to have one good friend or a circle of friends. Even when they are not with their friend, they usually spend a lot of time talking among themselves on the phone. This communication(交际) is very important in children's growing up, because friends can discuss something difficult to say to their family members. However, parents often try to choose their children's friends for them. Some parents may even stop their children from meeting their good friends. The question of "choice" is an interesting one. Have you ever thought of the following questions? Who chooses your friends? Do you choose your friends or your friends choose you? Have you got a good friend you parents don't like? You answers are welcome.
